Birthday trip for Kylie

I'm home! Kylie had a fun filled 5th birthday party. Friends and cousins arrived along with Grandparents, aunts and uncles. Most of her school class also came. Though cool out, at least it was sunny. Hard to believe it's been 5 years since that little girl was born. It really does seem like yesterday. Now 5 years later, 3 more little girls have joined the family.

Easter greetings

Hi to all and a blessed Easter to you. I am now in ILL ready to celebrate granddaughter #1's 5th birthday. The girls are getting so big. The baby is now eating solid foods, she plays on her tummy on the floor, rolls over, and sits in the high chair. More family will arrive today. We will celebrate Christ's Resurrection on Sunday.

Busy Monday

This has been a busy Monday. As you notice, I have added some new features - like praying for Stellan - a baby I have never met, but I knew his mother when she was a baby, his daddy too. I am also on Twitter, so have added an access to that site from here. We were busy at the library. Always something new to learn about the system we are now using. Amazing, people continue to come in with the old green cards and needing to register for the new ones. It's been windy today with sunshine. Lynn got the deck done. This is Easter week, so many things going on - Good Friday services, travel to ILL, granddaughters have school off all week, Easter services on Sunday. See you tomorrow.

Pancake Supper time

Last night we enjoyed a delicious pancake supper with friends from church. Some of the guests - kids mostly - went along to collect sap, others watched and cared for the boiler, while others ate and visited in the cabin. One of these pictures is of the sap boiler building w/firewood, another is of the lake near the cabin, their gator for hauling sap, and the cabin. Wonderful way to visit friends. Several friends are boiling sap at their own places right now (especially Lynn and Terry) and all are very tired! It's been a very successful year. They are very thankful for their answered prayers - they can sleep later.
