It seemed a bit like Christmas around here today. Snow fell all morning and part of the afternoon. Some places like Menomonie received nearly 3 inches. It's been 100 years since we received snow like this, this early. It is still snowing in Hayward as I write this, but most has moved to the central and eastern part of the state. It only stuck to the grassy areas - roads were just wet. It was actually kind of pretty out - absolutely no wind. It's going to feel more winter like most of the week before warming up over the weekend - back to the 50's and 60's. Merry Christmas!
