Sunday greetings

Hi to all. Have you ever stood for hours doing one job and walked away with such satisfaction? Yesterday, 5 of us drove down to Chippewa Falls and helped packaged 82,500 meals that will be sent to Haiti. Two teen girls who went to Alaska with us, put this whole project together. I am so proud of them! It took an army of people to fill all those bags, to keep us supplied with the dried foods going in them, to load the boxes in the semi truck, to provide snacks to keep everyone going, and to "register" everyone as they came in - that really involved handing out the cute nets for our hair and taking our donations if we had them. This food will feed many people. Another 250,000 bags will be added to those we filled to help with the feeding project. We also thank Kids Against Hunger, IDES, and Lifeline who are providing the other meals, the shipping costs, or other help needed to make this even happen. We also stopped in to see Heidi, a young friend from our community who is suffering from either ALS or Lymes. She is unable to communicate other than with her thumbs, the shake of her head, or with her eyes. We ask that people pray for this young wife and mother.
