Yesterday we traveled to eastern Wisconsin for the baby shower for our son and his wife.
They had both traveled to Wisconsin from their home out east for job related meetings.
It was great to have several of our family there - our oldest daughter, granddaughter Emma, my brother, his wife, their son and his wife, plus Great Grandma Bernita - this baby will be #23 for her. We had such a nice visit with daughter in law's family. They too farm. Great food - and fun. Many of Nessa's family were there - a full house on a cloudy drizzly day. It was a long day with the road trip taking 4 hours each way, but it was worth it. Probably the neatest idea for a gift was the Daddy tool belt our daughter made for her brother. It may turn out to be very practical too. She had great fun putting it together.
