Happy Mother's Day to everyone! What a gorgeous day it turned out to be! After a couple of crazy rainy/sleety/snowy - yes we got a dusting of wet snow, today dawned blue skies, no wind and not bad temps. We had a lovely morning in church. The men of the church or at least several of them, made a huge breakfast. French toast, sausage, scrambled eggs, ham, biscuits and gravy - wow what a treat. The basement was packed. Great morning! I ran the computer today so it was noon or after before we headed home. Lynn invited his mother and sister Joyce out for lunch. We had a lunch meal of potato soup and biscuits, veggies and cheese. He purchased several roses for me to support Wisconsin Right to Life. He also made me a trellis for the front flower bed to support my Clematis which is ready to bloom. We covered it last night due to frost - it got quite cold around the area. Got to talk with one daughter and our son. Got to see our grandson trying to scoot across the floor. He is getting so big! We both got great naps in. I really zonked out for almost 2 hours. I also watched a really nice Alaskan video - the train service from Anchorage to Fairbanks. Can't wait to get back there some day!!!!!Miss it!
Hope everyone had a wonderful day!
